Brooke Barry was raised on a farm in South Georgia where she was raised by dogs, which is why she has issues with codependency and drooling. 

Her comedy is fueled by the silly tragedies she has overcome and continues to struggle with. Her personal storytelling and quirky perspective on life is the heart of her presence on stage. You'll find her stories mostly packed with irrational fears of flying, medical procedures, flesh-eating bacteria, sinkholes, and anything that requires a waiver to be signed.

While she has spent most of her life in survival mode, she hopes that her writing keeps her thriving so that one day she may have a home, a small garden, a yacht and some margaritas, and fifteen dogs.
